Cabana Stripes and Baby’s Room – Not Just For The Beach!

As we’ve watched nursery designs trend to feature wide stripes in wall paint and throw rugs, we were inspired to look for fabrics to make curtains and baby blankets in the same style. We then pulled it all together with some simple solids and monogramming. The end result is a great group of mix and match crib bedding in five different solid colors, each with a corresponding wide cabana stripe curtain set and a matching blanket. These curtain panels come in gray, navy, coral, kiwi (green), and canvas (kakhi). They are a really fun addition to the nursery. What’s more, they’ll last to toddler (and even teen) years.

There are lots of other coordinating canvas and navy options that look great with this bedding. Add some navy trim, navy or canvas curtains, or change the skirt to solid navy or solid canvas and you’ve changed the entire look of the nursery. See?

The wide stripe is also available in a minky blanket, which is a faux fur on one side, and the cabana stripe on the opposite side. Minky baby blankets are great for tummy time, strollers, rocking, and just snuggling with your baby. They are so soft and luxurious. 

If you love big stripes, have fun with your nursery design. Paint the walls, buy the bedding, hang curtains, or source a throw rug (or pillows) with big, wide stripes. They’re not for the beach anymore!
